Why the most recent election has the least behind it
August 6, 2026 sits at the top with the least detail, and that is the state’s publishing order rather than a gap in the count. Tennessee posts its precinct-level archive after an election is certified, so the newest result is always the thinnest and fills in later. 15 of these 16 elections have precinct figures today.
County offices — sheriff, county mayor, the commission, the school board — come only from this county’s own election commission, because the state publishes none of them anywhere. We have not read this county's own results yet, so none of those races appear above. Where a year shows state and federal races only, the county offices were on a ballot we have not read yet.
This describes what our software could read, not how well this county does its job. Publishing a scanned report is lawful; we have found no Tennessee law requiring any particular format.
Help fill this in
Where a year is thin, it is usually because nobody has read that county’s report yet. A neighbor who types the numbers in and links the page they came from closes the gap for everyone.
